The Basic Ecclesial Community of Sta.Teresita Parish headed by Fr. Richard Magararu, SMM and Fr. Angelito Pusikit, SMM together with the Coordinator, Bro. Val Canilao, the head shepherds and facilitators joined effort to launch three (3) special events for BEC. First, the BEC simultaneous Bible sharing of the thirty eight (38) clusters which was held last August 23, 2014.  This aimed to mobilize members so that a more extensive and more focused BEC can be realized in the parish. A mass was held attended by shepherds (pastol), cluster facilitators and members of BEC, followed by bible sharing in every cluster.  Fr. Richard and Fr. Angel visited few of them.  They gave encouraging words and blessed them.  The parish was able to organize thirty eight (38) clusters conducting weekly bible sharing in their respective areas.

Second was the BEC Night held last September 26, 2014.  The event was well attended:  Two hundred eighty three (283) members showed up that night excluding the numbers of children who also took part in this activity. The theme of celebration was “Mga Laykong Sama- sama Nagsasaya at Nagkakaisa para sa Ebanghelisasyon tungo sa Munting Sambayanang Kristiano." The theme was felt indeed that night: unity and camaraderie among all the members were truly remarkable. The highlight of the event was the display of talents through song and dance numbers prepared by different zones with a special guest that night, Tatang Mendoza, a lay leader and BEC trainor of the Archdiocese of Manila who gave an inspiring message to all. Delicious foods were served and shared by everyone. Also, the El Shaddai group led in singing lively music which everyone enjoyed.

Lastly was the BEC parish fiesta held exactly on the feast day of our patron Sta. Teresita. There were exhibits of booths prepared by the different religious organizations and ministries in the parish. The creativity of all members was once more demonstrated in the way they decorated their respective booths. It was inaugurated by Bishop Teodoro Bacani immediately after the mass. A short program was conducted with the giving of certificate of recognition to all the organizations and ministries for their participation. Meals were served and while eating, the Marriage Encounter group rendered some love songs.

The success of these events only describes the unity and oneness of BEC of Sta. Teresita Parish...." Christ make us one body and we are all joined to each other as different parts of one body"-Romans 12:15
