STP Hosted Monthly Vicariate Meeting - STP News - Santa Teresita Parish

The parish of Santa Teresita hosted the monthly meeting of the Vicariate on September 24, 2014 which started at 6:30 PM.  It is a meeting of all priests and lay leaders of the seven parishes that comprise the Vicariate of our Lady of Guadalupe.  The parishes in this cluster are: National Shrine of our Lady of Guadalupe (Guadalupe), St. John Mary Vianney (Cembo), Sta Teresita (West Rembo), Mater Dolorosa (East Rembo), Mary, Mirror of Justice (Comembo), St John of the Cross (Pembo) and Sanctuario de San Antonio (Forbes Park).  This is headed by the Vicar Forane appointed by the Archbishop of Manila and at present it is the Parish Priest of Mary, Mirror of Justice, Fr. John G. Barro. It is him who presided the meeting.
The minutes of the last meeting was first read and approved by the body. Fr. John, then called the coordinators of the different ministries in the Vicariate to give updates.  Among the ministries were: Restorative Justice, Pondo ng Pinoy, Basic Ecclesial Communities (BEC), Catechetical, Youth and others.  
There were two coordinators coming from Santa Teresita Parish namely, Bro. Raul De Leon (BEC) and Bro. Icheal Bulayog (Youth).  Bro. Dong Porquez who is also among the team working in Makati City Jail gave the report on Restorative Justice. Dr. Maui Mata also attended the meeting to remind the body about the ministry for Persons with Disabilty(PWD) in the different parishes.  The meeting ended with a prayer and blessing of Fr. Richard Magararu, SMM.
