STP Parish Renewal Experience Batch 93 - STP News - Santa Teresita Parish

In line with its 18th anniversary, the PREX Movement, acronym for Parish Renewal Experience, has once again held its quarterly weekend seminar last February 14&15, 2015. Nineteen participants have graduated with hearts and minds re-awakened.  For those who are wondering what PREX is, it is a movement that organizes and conducts a Formation Seminar in the parish to renew the parishioners’ commitment to “love and serve the Lord.” It is an endeavor to let the participants experience and attain the “state of bliss and joy” as they journey to the Father. For most PREX graduates, this experience led them to become closer to God and to each other. PREX also serves as an introduction to the various organizations and ministries in the parish.

This season of Love, Batch # 93 was born. The seminar was led by Kuya Nanding and Ate Yolly Tapero  with Kuya Mhar and Ate Remy Pazziuagan as Assistant Lead Couple and Kuya Lyndon and Ate Maricel Tabago  as Observer Couple.  The theme was Mercy and Compassion in line with the message of Pope Francis during his visit to the Philippines.  The participants were full of spirit during and after the seminar. The speakers shared their personal experiences.  All have fulfilled their duties with zeal and humility.  Graduation is always something to be remembered with love and gratitude for the Lord.  So much could be said about the seminar but secrecy must be observed at all times. One thing that is sure, everyone who left the hall that night although tired and drained, was filled with happiness that only comes in serving the Lord.
